Extended Time Testing

Testing and evaluation include:
- A series of standardized tests to be administered by one of our specialized examiners
- A review of the individual’s educational history, including use of extended time
- Review of scores from timed and untimed academic tests (typically evidenced in individual’s school work samples)
- Comparisons of student’s performance under timed and untimed conditions
- Fine motor skill evaluation (if deemed applicable)
Documentation for extended time must demonstrate the following:
- The student’s disability (refer to Disability Documentation Guidelines)
- The student’s difficulty taking tests under timed conditions
