Nicole Clark, MSW, LSW is a licensed social worker and a certified school social worker who specializes in working alongside children, adolescents, and young adults. She takes on a collaborative approach to therapy, tailoring sessions to best fit the client’s needs and is accommodating to feedback. Currently working as a school social worker, Nicole is best at working with children, adolescents, and young adults, however, has additional past experience working with adults and the family unit. She treats anxiety, depression, trauma and stress, and best works with clients struggling with suicidal ideation and behaviors, grief, and negative self- and body-image. Her interventions are commonly pulled from CBT, DBT, and other solution-oriented approaches, however doing so at the client’s discretion. Nicole works best in assisting the client through transitional life phases and change, providing support in reclaiming the control needed to best manage one’s emotions, thoughts, and behaviors.
Nicole grew up in Northern New Jersey and received her Master’s of Social Worker from Rutgers University in May of 2020. Nicole can personally relate to the tumultuous pressures today’s youth and young adult populations face in completing school or entering the workforce in the midst of a pandemic. In her spare time, she is an avid reader and is always open to your best book recommendation.
