Elisa Silecchia, MA, LAC is a licensed associate counselor who specializes in working with children, adolescents, and young adults. She has had experience working with individuals in a school setting, hospital setting, and interning here at MedPsych. Elisa specializes in taking the person-centered as well as a creative approach to counseling. Her interventions are commonly pulled from CBT, DBT, solution-focused, as well as play therapy. Elisa has a passion for working with individuals who may be struggling with life transitions, anxiety, depression, stress, grief, and self-esteem.
Elisa grew up in Northern New Jersey and received her Master’s Degree from William Paterson University. Being a collegiate athlete Elisa also has a passion for working with athletes and the life challenges that athletes may face.
