Susan Rice takes a compassionate and empathetic approach to counseling, helping clients uncover the root causes of emotional, relational, and psychological challenges. Susan believes “A problem shared is a problem halved.” She works with adults, children, and families to help them gain new perspective and purpose. She equips clients to use their unique strengths to develop confidence, resilience, and coping skills, and offers a wide range of practical tools to alleviate anxiety and depression. Susan aims to treat the long-term and often hidden impacts of traumatic experiences. She also has expertise in family conflict and developmental disorders. Susan earned her master’s degree in counseling from Nyack College and has a background in nursing in the field of developmental disability.
